Terms and Conditions

If placing an order with us please read our terms and conditions - these will be sent to you via email as well as being available here!

Deposit

A non-refundable 25% deposit will be taken at time of booking to secure your booking with us. 

If you require balloons or event décor for collection or delivery and/ or your event is less than 7 days from the date of booking our services, 100% payment will be required to secure. 

We will continue to accept other bookings until a deposit / payment is received. This may result in not being able to fulfil your original order, however, we will try our best to accommodate.

Final Payment

An invoice will be sent within 48 hours of booking -please check this carefully to ensure everything you have ordered is shown as this will be used prior to delivery / collection or when / if decorating your venue. Please inform us of any mistakes as soon as possible.

The outstanding balance of the invoice must be paid 72 hours prior to collection / delivery / event date or sooner.

If payment is not received by this time, and there is no response or communication from you, we will assume our services are no longer required and reserve the right to cancel your booking. We will notify you of this.

Agreement to our terms and conditions

When you pay your deposit / make full payment you confirm your booking with us and you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. We also encourage you to read our balloon safety and care guides available on our website to maximise the longevity of your balloons and to keep yourself, others and the environment safe whilst doing so.

Amendments

We will endeavor to accommodate amendments / changes to your order including colour changes / product changes, however, we cannot guarantee these.

If we have ordered stock for your order and you wish to amend your order in anyway and we need to reorder stock, you will be charged cost price including delivery charges for the part of the order no longer required.

Cancellation

If you choose to cancel your booking with us within 4 weeks of your delivery/collection/event, we cannot return your non-refundable deposit as we would have turned away other bookings on your date and/or ordered stock.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking in the following circumstances:

· If the venue is closed on the day of your event due to circumstances beyond our control.

· In the event of exceptional circumstances that may jeopardise the safety of our staff such as terrorism, a crime incident, or forces of nature such as earthquakes, flooding or extreme bad weather conditions like snow or ice.

In the above instances we will not refund your monies but would be happy to hold your deposit/monies for a future event at no extra cost depending on availability.

If you are using our services for an event at a venue which cannot go ahead due to COVID related reasons, we will be happy to hold your deposit/monies for a future event at no extra cost.

If for any reason, we are unable to fulfil your order once payment has been made you will be offered a full refund.

Insurance

JK Balloons are fully insured with public liability insurance. If you or your venue requires proof, please supply us with a contact email and we will send it over.

Hire Items

Once we have installed our hire items, these are not to be moved by any other persons, as some items are heavy and can cause damage or be damaged.

Hire items will require collection at a time and date that has been agreed in advance with the customer or venue.

In the event of any damage or loss of hired items, we reserve the right to charge you for the full replacement value. Substitute items will not be accepted.

All our illuminated numbers/letters and neon signs are PAT tested by a qualified electrician and we hold certificates for each item. If you or your venue requires a copy of these please supply us with a contact email address and we can send this to you / your venue.

Photographs

Photos / videos taken of our work may be used for our portfolio, website and any marketing materials/collateral unless specified by you.

Photos and video footage taken by us of our work remain our property. Our photos are not to be reproduced, copied or edited in any way by you or any third party without our prior permission via email to do so.

Complaints

We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and the services we provide, but if you have any complaints, please contact us via email at jkballoons@hotmail.com within 7 days of the date of the event / booking.

Confidentiality and Personal Data

Your booking, event date, contact details (address, phone, email), & bank details will be treated with complete confidentiality. We will not speak with any media representative or release any information unless you give us consent to do so.

We shall use the personal information you give us to:

o Provide the services.

o Process payment for the services.

o Inform you about similar products and services we provide.

o We shall not give your personal information to a third party unless you agree to it.

Faults/Damage

Once the balloons are in your care, we will not be held responsible if they pop. Balloons are perishable delicate goods, and we recommend reading our balloon care and safety guides available on our website under the 'information' tab.  If you believe your balloon is faulty, please notify us immediately and we will contact the manufacturer.  Once / if this has been confirmed we will then refund you.  This can take between 7-14 days. 

All our hire equipment is checked prior to each event, however, if you notice a fault, please contact us immediately so we can assess and rectify if required. If upon arrival to collect hire items new faults / damage is noted, then you will be required to cover the costs to fix or replace the goods. Our contract is with you and not your venue so if you believe this to be caused by your venue or venue staff then you will need to discuss this with them.

We inflate all our balloons at least 6-12 hours prior to delivery or collection to check for faults.
