Balloons are not invincible and will not last forever. Please follow these tips to optimise the longevity and enjoyment from your balloon(s)!
Avoid source of direct heat such as spotlights, lamps and radiators.
Every time a balloon is hit against something or someone hits the balloon, there is a risk it may pop or helium will escape and cause premature deflation.
Lights, irregular surfaces and paint textured ceilings can all cause your balloon to pop. Static can also cause balloons to pop so avoid areas near electrical appliances.
If you are wanting to store your balloons to keep them a surprise (for example waiting until little ones are in bed), we advise you to store your balloons somewhere at room temperature.
We do not advise to store them in cars/garages/sheds for long periods of time as they may be affected by environmental factors. If you do decide to store them somewhere other than inside at room temperature try to do so for a minimal amount of time - this is at your own risk!
We also advise not to cover helium balloons (for example, with a blanket), as this can affect their float time or it may even stop them from floating at all!
JK BALLOONS use the highest quality balloons and treat all our latex balloons as standard with a non-toxic sealant to ensure up to 3x more float time. However, balloons are fragile, and perishable so must be handled with care - This information is guidance only and NOT a guarantee.
Once the balloons are in your care, we will not be held responsible if they pop, if you believe your balloon is faulty, please notify us immediately and we will contact the manufacturer. Once / if this has been confirmed we will then refund you. This can take between 5-7 days.
We inflate all our balloons at least 6-12 hours prior to delivery or collection to check for faults.
